Best friends

Jace is so lucky to have a best friend who lives right next door. From the day that they were born it was fate for them to be friends. They play together, fight together, and get into LOTS( and I mean LOTS!!) of trouble together. I couldn't ask for anything more!!

Hooray for warm weather and a box!! Carving outside was the best thing ever. I wish we could do that every year!! The kids had so much fun this year carving pumpkins. They are all getting so good at doing it on their own now it is great.

UEA weekend

ok ok I know it has been forever so I guess I will put something up! Over UEA weekend we went with the Lamberts to the Hill air force museum and the Eccles Dinosaur park in Ogden. We had a great time and the kids thought it was awesome. Alec and Zane loved finding the real planes that matched their toy planes at home. They especially loved Daddys favorite plane the F-16 and the p-51 mustang. Here are some pics

Tara's birthday was yesterday. I can't believe she is one already. It makes me kinda sad, but it is so much fun too. She is just the best little girl I could ever ask for. We had a great time opening her presents and she loved her new bouncing zebra.

Lazer Tag!!

Randal's family has a tradition of playing Lazer Tag sniper style in the backyard. Well we had Spencer and Jessica over and Shawn and Shari over on Friday night and played at our house for the first time. We had a blast. Shawn and Shari even though they were novices did awesome and we all had a great itme. The kids even tried their hand at it before going to bed. I didn't get any pictures of them so next time, but I did get one of all of us decked out in our gear!! So if you ever see people sneaking around the Clark/Lambert yards looking a little suspicious with wierd hats and guns in hand, don't worry were just playing a little lazer tag and having a great time!!

On Friday August 15th, the kids and I went to swim with Aunt katie and Seth and Garrett. The kids had a blast. We can't wait to go again. Here are some pics and a video of Ashlyn swimming. Apparently after watching the Olympics Ashlyn gets how to swim now and did a great job. Way to go Ash!!

Zane played Soccer this spring for the first time.  He had a blast and as you can see you could spot him a mile away in that orange.  I thought I would share and keep checking back as I will be doing the same for Ashlyn and Alec's spring sports soon!!

Zanes a Kindergartener!!!!!

Tuesday was Zane's first day of school!! He was so excited to go on the bus and to see what school is like. He says his favorite part is recess (of course) and he really likes his teacher. He brought home his first treat from school on tuesday as well amd I think he was pretty thrilled to now get treats like Ashlyn and Alec do from time to time. He is just having a great time!!

So we were driving to Zane's Kindergarten appt. yesterday and he tells me that his throat is giggly. I asked him why and he said it was because it was so excited to meet his new teacher. So cute and funny!! Just had to share :)

The first day of school!

Today is the first day of school. The kids are so excited to get back and see some of their friends again. Ashlyn is in 4th grade and Alec is in 2nd grade, although by the looks of it you would think it was the other way around. Alec is now taller than Ashlyn! Zane is in Kindergarten this year, but he doesn't start until next week because of kindergarten testing. We get to go meet his teacher today though and he is very excited.

One last hooraa!!

On Wednesday we finally went to our splash pad by our house. First time this summer, I think it was about time. We went with Stephanie and kids (caden, carlie, josh, and amanda). We had a great time. Even Jace got into the water (at least a little)!! Here are the pics and video...

Tara loves to play peak-a-boo!! It is her new talent in a long line of new discoveries that she is learning to do. She is so much fun these days, but what 10 month old isn't!!

So on Tuesday we went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. We had so much fun, especially Jace. He loved seeing the fish swimming around. He even got to see Nemo and Dori from Finding Nemo. Here are some pics form our trip...
